People have asked me why change propaganda's voice on this track? The concept for the song is me representing humanity and Propaganda representing God. We felt that the voice change helped to emphasize that representation.
lyrics
Dear God I wonder can you hear me
once upon a time I saw everything more clearly
as I gaze daily on humanities plight
my faith has been painstakingly withdrawing from the light
As a man I seen murder mayhem and corruption
But as a Christian I witnessed the churches deconstruction of true religion
and if truly there is a heaven
then why is it not reflected in reality we live in
If I’m intellectually driven - I’m forced to conclude
it’s impossible for man to raise himself from the tomb
Impossible that a virgin had life in the womb
It’s improbable to assume that mans days are done soon
I see the places technology has taken us
i see how science and philosophy enlighten us
my faith is shaken up
lord have you forsaken us
if you hear me im calling you to awaken us
can you hear me
can you hear me
can you hear me
I wanna know Dear God when I call you lord do you hear me.

Beauty and the Beast at the very beginning of the track, then a Christ-integrated message to top it all off. Nostalgic and Beautiful. To add more to the pie, the song and what it relates to is perfectly fitting for the theme of beauty in the midst of beastliness. It's just dope.
Thank God for this song. Donovan Lewis
